Every fortnight a new artwork is displayed outside the staff room in the main building. Students are encouraged to inquire into who the artist may be and place their guess in the box underneath the artwork. Clues can be heard via the Kororoit Creek Primary School pod cast, which can be listened to on the music blog www.kororoitcreekmusic.global2.vic.edu.au. Winners will be announced each fortnight at assembly.
Remember ….. take a risk, have a guess!
Congratulations to the following students for being selected to represent Kororoit Creek Primary School in the Arts, crafts and cookery competition in the Junior Primary division at the Royal Melbourne Show.
If your heading to the show in the next school holidays don’t forget to take a look at the wonderful creations the students at Kororoit Creek Primary School have created.
We have been learning about pastels. We have inquired into fantasy characters from a range of literature and used this as inspiration in order to design our own fantasy characters. We utilised our learning to create a final artwork using pastels.
Next, we will be learning about mixed media art.
We inquired into the season Autumn. We learnt about what happened in our environment and used our learning experiences to create realistic patterned Autumn leaves using ink.
